Roger Chu is a seasoned executive in SME banking and the retail lending industry. He has 22 years’ global experience in business & sales management, product development, risk management, merger & acquisition, and FinTech venture development. He worked for 9 years at Standard Chartered Bank, responsible for the risk management of USD 11 billion of the global small business lending portfolio in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Before joining LiqEase he was the COO at one of the top 50 FinTechs in China, responsible for all of the lending business units. He also held senior leadership roles in GE Capital, ABN Amro Bank, and TransUnion across Asia.
He has a computer engineering degree from the University of Hong Kong and an MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA.
