Zhang Zhenghua graduated from Zhejiang University with a master's degree in business administration. He has more than ten years of experience in the field of payment and was one of the pioneers in the payment industry in China. He was also one of the youngest CEO in companies at BAT level, managing nearly 1000 staff including senior-level employees from Paypal and Googlewallet when he was just 30 years old. Under his charge, he has nurtured and groomed many of his subordinates who have now become CEOs in China's payment companies.
Before founding UNPay, he was the founding CEO of Baidu Wallet, and was responsible for Baidu’s wallet payment and its financial-related businesses.
Prior to Baidu, he worked for seven years in Alipay. As the person in-charge of Alipay's Innovation Division, he successfully transformed Alipay into a consumer end product. Being the pioneer of online payments in China, Zhang Zhenghua witnessed the rise of mobile payments from scratch.
